General Manager - Marina di Cecina, Italy
Marina di Cecina is about to come under new ownership and with an extensive redevelopment due to commence in 2020, we are now looking to recruit a highly-experienced Marina General Manager.
Located on Italy’s famed Tuscan coast, Marina di Cecina is just 37 miles from Pisa international airport.
The marina currently comprises of 747 berths to 40m L.O.A, although the marina is due to be completely remodelled commencing in 2020, with the berth numbers reducing to 570, but expanding to 90m. Along with a new undercover dry stack, this will become an ultra high-quality marina, with complimenting landside developments proffering fine restaurants and retail offerings, which will make this marina a much sought-after, world-class, year-round facility.
The marina will also be overlooked by a new five star hotel, resort and spa, with accompanying residences, creating a striking centre piece to the marina basin.
To head-up and relaunch this extensive marina operation, which includes a substantial boatyard facility, will require a dynamic, innovative and highly experienced Marina General Manager.
You will have at least 8 years’ experience in a senior marina management role.
Possess a sound knowledge of marina operations including; boat lifting and handling and preventative maintenance procedures.
Have excellent leadership qualities, combined with honed proven commercial acumen.
Ability to prepare business plans and monitor, through financial planning and management accounts.
Focused and dedicated on excellent customer service.
Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
Experience in sales & marketing and PR.
The need to speak Italian is not essential, but would be desirable.
