The Yacht Harbour Association Launches Improved Marina Standards
The Yacht Harbour Association’s (TYHA) 7th Edition Code of Practice which has been eighteen months in the making was launched at the 2013 Marina Conference on Wednesday 8th May. The Code has been carefully drafted and endorsed by a range of experts in their own fields to offer a guide to best practice for any marina designer, developer or operator. It takes into consideration the needs of TYHA’s expanding international membership, new industry guidelines and with an increased emphasis on the operation of marinas.

 TYHA Marinas Networking Event 2012
4th July 2012 - The Lakes 
This year our Marina’s Networking Event will be on beautiful Lake Windermere.

Starting off at Low wood Marina, we will take to the water visiting Windermere Aquatic and Windermere Village marinas and a steam boat museum.

Accommodation will be at Low Wood Hotel, overlooking the marina and Langdale Pike.



For those of you wishing to arrive the evening before, full use of the excellent spa, pool and gym facilities are available free of charge. A 3 course dinner will be served, with wine, at the hotel on 3rd July.

For fun after a full day on the water and walking around marinas, there will be a mini regatta at Low Wood Marina. For those of you with a competitive edge, there will be a dinghy race and Gareth is throwing down the gauntlet. This will be charged separately to the event and prices are to be confirmed.
