Boatfolk - Royal Quays Marina

Widely regarded as the premier boating facility in the north of England, Royal Quays Marina is situated in the historic Albert Edward Dock, close to the mouth of the River Tyne and ideally placed for access to the open sea and for cruising on the sheltered waters of the River Tyne.

We are quick and easy to reach from all parts of the region and from further afield. The Marina is maintained to a high standard and is operated 24hrs throughout the year by a friendly and knowledgeable team. Following a rigorous inspection in September 2017, the Marina was awarded 5 Gold Anchors by The Yacht Harbour Association, the only coastal marina in the North of England to have this accolade. In addition, Royal Quays Marina was the runner up in the Coastal Marina (over 250 berths) category in the UK Marina of the Year awards in 2015 and again in 2018. We are a RYA Active Marina and events are organised to encourage customers to get the best use out of their boats.
