£1.4 Million Investment Confirmed for Glasson Waterside & Marina

Aquavista has announced a major £1.4 million investment programme at Glasson Waterside & Marina in Lancaster. The project will deliver a comprehensive regeneration of the marina's pontoon infrastructure and enhance facilities for berth holders and visitors.

The programme marks a significant milestone in the long-term development of the marina and reinforces Aquavista's commitment to delivering high-quality waterside experiences across its network of 33 marinas. It follows Aquavista's recent £1.3 million investment in Nottingham Castle Waterside & Marina.

The regeneration programme, delivered in partnership with leading pontoon specialists Solent Marine, will include:

A new configuration of brand-new floating pontoons

Installation of durable, anti-slip GRP mesh Duradeck

Installation of new electricity and utility bollards, including customer-controlled electric metering systems

New safety equipment throughout the marina, including safety ladders and life rings

Work is scheduled to begin in early June and will be completed in phased stages over a three-month period.

Speaking about the investment, Marina Manager Ian Parker said:

"We're delighted to confirm this major investment in Glasson Waterside & Marina. These improvements will significantly modernise the marina, enhance safety and convenience for berth holders, and strengthen the overall customer experience for years to come. We'd like to thank all berth holders for their patience and continued support while these exciting improvements are delivered."
