An industry-wide invitation to join British Marine’s next Digital Networking event on the 25th May.
British Marine is delighted to extend an open invitation to all individuals and organisations from across the leisure marine industry to attend and discover the next scheduled Digital Networking event.
This free, informal, and friendly networking event will take place from 8:30am to 10:00am on Tuesday 25 May. Meet other professionals and enjoy the perfect occasion to expand contacts, network, collaborate and support each other.
First launched at the British Marine Autumn Expo in November 2020, the British Marine Digital Networking events – hosted by Ben Taylor (Taylor Digital), continue to gain support across the industry. The events provide the opportunity for those that cannot meet in person to network, share knowledge and discuss industry-specific topics for 90 minutes each month.
Ben Taylor comments: “Some people may be unsure about this method of networking at first. However, I would encourage everyone to give it a chance. I’ve seen people secure new jobs, open sales enquiries and begin corporate collaborations all through being online at this event.”
British Marine knows that networking and building business relationships online should be a comfortable yet professional experience. Held on the Zoom platform, the Digital Networking event will begin with a short introduction from Ben Taylor. Then attendees are randomly allocated into small groups of around 5 people to discuss topics and network as they please for 20 minutes. With cameras on and friendly face-to-face chat, the smaller groups facilitate meeting new and existing contacts. This takes place 4 times throughout the event creating numerous opportunities to network.
The next event takes place on Tuesday 25 May, from 08:30am to 10:00am.
