In these uncertain times caused by the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the world, I wanted to inform you about what we are doing here at TYHA.
Our top priority is the health and wellbeing of our Members and staff. Thankfully no suspected cases of COVID-19 have been reported amongst our staff, although as a precaution we are all operating from our homes. Likewise, we have not heard of any members that have the virus although many have staff in isolation.
We have postponed all non-essential business travel and meetings are being held remotely via Microsoft Teams, Skype or telephone. However, we would like to reassure you that we are still working at full capacity and will continue to support members fully; we welcome any calls, emails or on-line meetings should you need support or advice.
Key areas of focus for the TYHA team over the coming months will include a revision of our Code of Practice, version 2 of our Gold Anchor criteria, marketing and boat show plans and, of course, member support.
Our thoughts and best wishes go out to all members and friends throughout the world.
